Torhout Community Centre

About this project

In March 2012, AB started the construction of the new Torhout Community Centre alongside a new park. The work covers a total of 2.800 m² of floorspace as well as 1.200 m² of car parking space. The building’s base is glassed in and is intended to serve as the building’s reception area. It has a direct link to the park. The superstructure is concentric, though built inside to a strict geometry whereby the atrium constitutes the heart of the building connecting all floors with the reception area. The building lets in lots of light and is equipped with the latest technology.
